A classic 14Kt gold bow pin from the 1940-s is centered by a 5 millimeter bezel set round opal. The inscription in the back shows that this bow was given to someone special in 1944. The length of the pin is 1 7/8” and the width at the widest part is ½”.
This well designed 14Kt white gold estate ring is centered by a 6X4 millimeter emerald cut natural sapphire. The center stone is flanked on either side by five full cut diamonds. The approximate weight of the center sapphire is 0.60Ct, while the approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.10Ct. The ring is a size 7 and can easily be sized.

This silver and amethyst circles necklace by Fred Davis is one of his iconic designs. What makes this example stand out is the exceptional size. It is much larger than the standard. Each round disc is 1 1/2 inches in diameter making for a very dramatic and imposing necklace. It is 23 1/2 inches in length.

A much understated tailored design is this estate diamond band from the 1970-s. The 14Kt yellow gold band is topped by five G color brilliant cut diamonds with the total weight of 0.26Ct. The diamonds are set individually in an S design channel. The weight and color of diamonds are clearly marked inside the band. The band is a size 6 ¾ and can easily be sized.
These pair of 14Kt yellow gold and garnet earrings is a 1960-s revival of the Victorian style. The top part of each earring is set with a 3 millimeter round faceted garnet, while the movable bottom part is centered by a 5 millimeter round cabochon garnet. The earrings have French backs for non pierced ears. If needed it would be possible to convert the backs. The length of the earrings is 1 ¼” and the width is 7/16” at the widest part.

A vintage large sterling silver and enamel Mid Century Modernist brooch in a geometric design. Made from thick sterling wire and greenish-blue enamel. There are thin wires in the enamel for an interesting effect.
Measures 2 3/8" across and 2 1/4" high. Can be worn with the longer edge up or sideways. Could even be worn as a pendant with a converter. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.

A vintage three dimensional pendant in sterling silver designed by Jose Luis Flores of Taxco, Mexico depicting a stylized figure kissing a nude breast. Flores also worked with Hector Aguilar, Miguel Garcia Martinez and Emma.
Measures 4 3/4" long including the large bale and 2 1/2" across. Marked on the back 925, Mexico JLF, and Taxco. Have also seen this with the additional Miguel hallmark in script. Heavy and substantial. Has some tarnish. Pre Eagle.

A Mid Century Modernist pair of screw back earrings in a sterling silver oyster or floral design signed Macefield for William Mason and Leonard Field, American studio jewelers who worked in Massachusetts in the 1940's -50's.
These earrings measure 1" across. Screw backs hold securely. Signed Macefield Sterling on the back of each earring. The screw backs are also signed Sterling.
Nice contrast between the textured background and the polished sterling orbs...
A most beautiful Frank Patania Senior cuff offered here with 7 large nuggets of turquoise. These nuggets measure 5/8th's tall and the overall height of the cuff is 2 inches. The length of the silver is 6.25 inches and the inside diameter is 2 3/8th's inches. There is a 1in. gap as well. Silver nuggets are dispersed an each side of the stones. Masterfull hand chasing and a heft of 112 grams. A huge presence and at an auction price value.
Filipe Martinez was well known at being the best stone cutter laying the stone next to the silver with no space in between. This is an outstanding example of such. The obsidian is a turned on sheen so strong I photographed and different light levels to help you see it in an in person sort of way. The necklace is 16 inches long 1.25 inches tall as well as the bracelet and the earrings. The bracelet is 7in. long. There is a 216 gram combined weight...
One of the few female designers and silversmiths who contributed to Mexico's 20th c. Silver Renaissance that we know about, Carmen Beckmann is reported in the literature to have worked primarily in the 1950s and 1960s in San Miguel de Allende. I am not sure if this is indeed the case, at least in terms of the dates when she was active and I only say this because many of the pieces by her that I have seen bore hallmarks that would indicate a pre-1948 date of crafting...
