This very early Mexican brooch is unsigned as to the maker, hallmarked simply "Mexico Silver". The style is certainly similar to the work of Matilde Poulat / Matl.
Entirely handwrought with exquisite and intricate detailing. A rare and stunning pin. Three amethysts of varying sizes form the center body sitting between the wings.
Measures 2 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" tall.
Weight is 16 grams.

This lovely sterling silver pin is a classic example of the Japanisme influence popular during the Aesthetic Movement of the late 19th century. It features embossed images of a dragonfly and two delicate plants as well as tiny marks emulating Asian characters, all on an irregular-shaped disk. Made by George W. A fine, hand wrought modernist sterling silver choker necklace by the California studio jeweler, Gerald Stinn. Made up of ten lightly hammered angled links with small connectors. You can have the links all facing the same way or alternate them for an interesting effect.

This sleek 1930's design by Frederick Davis features a finely detailed, hand carved malachite Aztec Warrior as the central element. Made for a smaller wrist the bracelet measures 6 1/2" long x 1 1/4" high and weighs 47 grams. Both silver and stone are in beautiful condition. Hallmarked FD on the clasp. Davis designs are included in many permanent museum collections.

These sterling silver earrings which she called her Rosetta Flower design measure 1 1/8 inches in diameter. The backs are posts and clips. Weight is 26 grams. The posts of the earrings have Johnson's signature triple lobe crown mark.

A wonderful Victorian 18K gold and jet watch chain that has been converted to a bracelet. The bracelet comprises variously-shaped baton and spherical beads. The original carved spherical watch fob and the crossbar dangle freely from the bracelet. The watch fob is carved in a stylized foliate pattern against a matte background. The spring ring is stamped "14K"; other elements are tested and guaranteed 14K.
