This pretty lady stick pin is most likely brass with a gold wash, which is worn. Her hair ends in a row of sparkly stones; I’m not sure what they are, but quite likely they are marcasites (one glued in crookedly). Head and stones measure 5/8” x 3/8”, total length is 2-9/16”. Circa 1920s.
Very nice size, measuring 2 5/8 wide and 2 1/8" high, good weight.
Stamped 980 on back, with Made in Mexico, no maker's mark.
Likely Taxco work, and the 980 silver standard was used in earlier works, prior to 1950.
The face mask depicts a warrior with headdress, ear spools, and facial adornment, a pre-columbian image often found in Mexican art and jewelry.
Has visible tarnish, especially in recessed areas, and shows wear and abrasions to silver surface...

This lovely little watch pin is 14 k gold with a red enameled flower and green enameled leaves. Eight seed pearls define an Art Nouveau scroll below the flower. 3/4" by 1" Circa 1900
This pin is 14k gold and holds a coral branch. It is Victorian in age and has maker's mark, BML. The pin is 2" X 1/2". Circa 1860.
Coral has been used in jewelry for thousands of years. It has been called Sea Garden because of its resemblance to a plant. Coral is used as protection from negativity and evil, and to dispel feelings of inner weakness.
A charming little pin. The fleur d'lis is a stylized lily or iris that was much used in heraldry and as a symbol of royalty (among others) since ancient times. This enchanting little pin is silver pavé-set with turquoise cabochons and is so very Victorian in style. It dates from 1870-1880.
A wonderfully detailed mallard duck, worked in multicolored 15K gold and green enamel flies across the finger in this Edwardian stickpin conversion ring. The feathers are beautifully worked in yellow, rose and green gold as well as a touch of platinum. The shank is 14K.

This delightful Victorian Art Nouveau pendant and pin features a four-leaf clover nestled inside a crescent moon, both set with seed pearls. The clover is centered with a .2-carat old European cut diamond. The combination of a flower and a crescent in Victorian jewelry was intended to convey the sentiment "honeymoon" and they were often a gift from a groom to his new bride. The four-leaf clover, of course, conveyed good luck...
Tiny and charming. The pin is made of 800 silver, enameled on both front and back, and centered with a square-cut peridot. The pin is 3/4" in diameter. Enamel is slightly worn on the front, but is in better condition on the back. There is a small chip in the stone.
Enough negativity! It's a lovely pin!
It is marked with the dog's head quality mark that shows it is 800 silver, made between 1872 & 1922 in Austro-Hungary and an A for the maker.
