This amazing, over the top, bib necklace is a late design by Miriam Haskell head designer, Robert Clark who worked for the costume jeweler from 1958 to 1968. It measures 18" long from end to end and drapes down a dramatic length of 8" in front. I spoke with another former head designer at Haskell, and was informed that these particular beads were sourced from the Routier Attelier in France. They are hand blown glass and made to resemble lavender jade...

This vintage Austrian necklace is by far one of the best pieces of costume I've owned. It is 17" long from end to end and is approximately 4" wide in front. It stands high on the neck when worn and is a little difficult to photo on a standard jewelry mount. It is made from brass with a Russian gilt finish, and the front is elaborately set with topaz rhinestones in oval, pear, and marquis shapes. It is in excellent condition and is signed "made in Austria" on an applied round tag.

The fire that this Elsa Schiaparelli bracelet and earrings sends out has to be seen to be believed. Large Gripoix poured glass, lava stones (sometimes called gum drop stones) are surrounded by 12 brilliant aurora borealis rounds. The bracelet is 7 5/8" (19.8 cm) long (not including the tongue) by 1 1/4" ( 3.5 cm). The ear clips a 1 1/4" (3.5cm) in diameter. The bracelet has a guard chain and a tight working clasp. The earring clips have lots of spring...

Unbelievable tiara! It might be an early Masonic piece. It has a sword and a human figure (Egyptian?) and large glistening various shape rhinestones. It is in excellent condition.A wonderful collector's piece. It is adjustable from 20" to 24" circumference, approximately. I am not sure of its age but believe it may be from the 1930's.

Confirmed unsigned Chanel necklace circa 1960 or 1970; I recently saw this same necklace with a Chanel hang tag with just the name in block lettering (no season numbers or copyright symbols), which dates it to 1970 or prior. I had previously listed this necklace as a probable Chanel...

This gorgeous necklace was made by the Italian design duo of Lyda Toppo and Bruno Coppola, better known as Coppola e Toppo. The necklace has a wearable length of 18" from end to end and is 2 1/2" at it's widest point. It is made from ombre blue crystals in a complex woven collar design. It has the signature heart shaped brass hardware on each end but does not bear the coppola signature. I believe that this was probably done private label for Emilio Pucci. It is in excellent condition.

Chanel, elegant as always. The heavy gold plating glistens, and each little pendant on all three pieces has a design created by the repeated use of the word "CHANEL". It creates a very interesting pattern. In addition, the earrings have many tiny clear rhinestones. A great set for Chanel lovers. Necklace is 40" end to end, three strand bracelet is 8" end to end, and clip earrings are 1 3/4" from top of clip to bottom of drop.

Unusual and high style deLillo set. The necklace has a removable 2" extender so that it may be worn at two different lengths. The center marquis pendant creates a very dramatic look, and the detailed filigree work on the back of the necklace adds to its beauty. Elegant costume jewelry set created for the House of DeLillo in the 1970's. This piece is the prototype designed and executed by Robert Clark, former Chief designer for Miriam Haskell. A limited edition followed its creation...

This amazing bakelite bracelet is one of the nicest examples I've had in a long time. The apple juice bangle employs several techniques including reverse carving, pierce cutting, and reverse painting. It is 1 1/4" wide and has a 2 1/2" diameter opening. The translucent material has open sections with three repeated reverse carved floral panels with painted details. The bracelet is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This really is one of the finest bangles I've had in 20 years!
