This is a wonderful old set from the 1950s- all quality with rhodium plating and glass stones that are all prong set. The necklace is 15" long, and someone has added a 5" extender which I will leave on. If that bothers the buyer, the old hook is still there and the extender can be removed easily. The front of the necklace is about 5/8" wide. The matching earrings are clips, and each one is 1 1/2" x 3/4". The set is in excellent condition and all three pieces are marked Weiss.

Amazing shoulder sweeping clip earrings made from glittering purple glass faceted beads with an iridescent finish, probably Swarovski, and with brilliant matching large purple rhinestones at the tops, in dark coppery gunmetal japanned settings. Most likely Italian, circa 1965 or 1975, in the style of Coppola e Toppo. Possibly unsigned Coppola e Toppo, with their distinctive style of weaving glass beads with fine filament. The 3-D design is so beautiful with rhinestones triple layered to resemble flower heads as the focal point of the necklace and earrings. The incredible colors are another reason for the strong attraction. The rhinestones are superb, saturated with color and so bright they mesmerize.

"Trifari", the necklace is adjustable and has a "J" hook. I totally agree with Julia Carroll's sentiment about the "Memo" ad. In her "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202" p...
