This novelty scarecrow pin in gold tone metal is a not so spooky scarecrow. He sports a straw hat, corn cob pipe and a crow perched on his arm. His eyes are faux turquoise beads, His nose is a coral colored bead. The crow has a red rhinestone eye. Lots of details and textures. His legs move. It is 2 1/4" long and 1 1/2" wide. It is not hallmarked. Excellent condition.

A most elegant unsigned piece. The translucent glass stones shimmer in a rich red color. The stones are very interesting since the front side of the large square stones are beveled, while the under side of those stones are dome shaped with a carved checkerboard pattern. This makes all the more shimmer when the piece moves. The age of the necklace is hard to determine, probably mid 1900's, possibly the 1940's...

Slip on earrings 1 1/4" long, 3/4" wide and 1/2" deep. This set did not pass my Bakelite test, but it may be Bakelite because the test is not fool proof.
This gorgeous necklace was made by the Italian design duo of Lyda Toppo and Bruno Coppola, better known as Coppola e Toppo. The necklace has a wearable length of 16" to 19" and is 2" wide in front. It is made from woven black crystals with the larger beads beads being plastic. It has the signature heart shaped brass hardware signed "Made in Italy by Coppola e Toppo." Here is a lovely necklace of openwork panels, each with a center marcasite, and three prong-set carved carnelians. All are suspended by a white metal chain decorated with embossed links. The beveled carnelians are decorated with carved stylized leaves and stems. The necklace measures 17 1/2 inches; the spring ring clasp appears to be original.
This wonderful vintage pin from the 1960's is commonly known as a "powder puff" pin and is featured in the book, "Jewels of Fantasy" by Deanna Farnetti. It is almost 6" long and has a 3" diameter flower made from purple fibers much like a paint brush. The center cabochon is speckled glass in a shade of robin's egg blue. It has a gold tone backing and it is in excellent condition. Michelle Obama and Sara Jessica Parker have both been seen sporting the same pin in different colors.

An Edwardian pot metal paste bangle 1910-1920. This vintage 5/16" wide paste rhinestone hinged bangle is made of dull grey pot metal (brightened in our pictures), and it has dozens of claw-set antique cut paste rhinestones. Paste of this era was less sparkly than later versions and glinted like antique cut diamonds in low lighting conditions (such as at night). A rare find. Lanvin jewelry is not often seen. This dramatic piece is of plastic with glass spacers and goldtone metal accents. The vibrant white and blue beads surround coral colored beads (paler in the picture than they actually are). The oval metal tag is marked Lanvin, Paris. Total inside length is 27".
