Gorgeous vintage 1960s French star form brooch in silvertone metal with very brilliant prong set rhinestones. The brooch has a French trombone pin close and typical French construction and materials. Possibly by a designer such as Roger Jean Pierre or Roger Scemama. I've attached it to a long strand of glass based faux baroque pearls, hand knotted, with matching silvertone spring ring clasp, from about the same period. The pearls are possibly Gripoix. Cast pewter and gilt pendant with a squirrel, by Volmer Bahner, c 1940, made to look like bronze. VB (1912 – 1995) was a Danish designer who in his jewels usually worked with enamel and silver. However, during WWII silver and even bronze was sometimes hard to find and cheaper material such as pewter was used as a substitute. A pair of Victorian rolled gold plate dangle drop earrings from the 1890s. These well-made hollow 1-3/4 x 1/2" earrings have an applied bow and four swinging drops each. They are screw-backs and they are unsigned. The backs are rose gold coloured and the earring itself is yellow gold and they may be the original backs (screwbacks were introduced in 1894). This lovely pair is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...
This pretty lady stick pin is most likely brass with a gold wash, which is worn. Her hair ends in a row of sparkly stones; I’m not sure what they are, but quite likely they are marcasites (one glued in crookedly). Head and stones measure 5/8” x 3/8”, total length is 2-9/16”. Circa 1920s.
