A very handsome pair of De Grisogono double-sided cufflinks, the faces made from polished seashells mounted in 18K yellow gold in the style of Seaman Schepps and Trianon. These 1960s cuff links are formed as square buttons, with diagonal scores enhanced by oxidation. They are hollow, but have a substantial feel and a nice heft. The larger buttons are marked Taxco; there is no sterling mark but all of the buttons test as sterling silver. These cuff links measure 5/8" x 3/4" x 1/4". They display actual sea horses in seagrass / sea weed. Dwelling in shallow, saltwater, they are actually this small size. The cuff links have a white background, making the marine fish very easy to see. They are under convex plastic and set in gold tone.

These cuff links are by the famous silversmith Perli. They are chain link cufflinks. The circular part has a diameter of 3/4".
