A terrific pair of Art Deco double-sided cufflinks in 14K yellow and white gold by Harvey Avedon. The front faces feature a white gold circle engraved in a pattern of off-center concentric circles surrounded by a yellow gold border. The yellow gold back faces are decorated in a matching pattern of concentric circles. The design is typical of the strong geometric motifs used by Avedon from the late 1940s on. Very nice pair of early toggle-back 14K yellow gold cufflinks, each set with an old European cut diamond. The edges of the faces have a foliate design surrounded a textured center featuring a ribbed collet-set diamond. The stones are very nice quality with excellent clarity and bright color. A handsome pair of 14k yellow gold cufflinks, the faces set with Essex crystals depicting dogs (definitely terriers, and most likely fox terriers). The dogs are colorfully painted on the reverse-carved crystal and set against mother of pearl backgrounds. The cufflinks are finished with toggle backs. The toggles are stamped “14K” and have a patent number, indicating the patent was still active when the cufflinks were made.

These cuff links exhibit both a sturdy look and construction. They were probably produced for the tourist trade by different silversmiths in the same workshop, as each is slightly different from the other, mostly in the fins. The backs of one linked pair indicates the maker M. Velazquez; all are marked Sterling/Made in Mexico in the pre-1950s style. The back rings connect to short bridge chains; one rings is slightly bent but there is no damage or metal stress...

These Georg Jensen two-sided silver cuff links feature a prominent side with a floral motif and the other formed as a bar with oxidized impressions. Each exhibits strong, well soldered connecting rings as well as the Jensen mark of 1933-1944, the design no. 9 and a dotted oval with 830 inside, indicating silver content. The larger sides measure 5/8 inch across. Weight: 7.6 grams total

These Mexican cuff links are unmarked but their design featuring a Precolumbian-style figure indicates their origin. They are also marked 980 on the backs of one side, a silver content consistent with Mexican jewelry. They are likely from the 1930s to 1950. The larger button measures ¾ inch in diameter. A heavy pair of vintage 18K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks. Each round face is decorated with a band of opaque royal blue enamel surrounding a collet-set round brilliant cut diamond. The diamonds are about I/J color and are SI1 clarity. The faces are finished with pierced gallery sides. The quality of workmanship is excellent. The bar connectors are marked “750” and have a worn maker’s mark.
