Vintage Mens cufflinks and tie bar. This set features a Steam Engine from the B & O Railroad. This set faces are enameled. The set is in good condition with the tie bar having some small enamel loss and the cufflinks have a few tiny stress cracks. The tie bar measures 1 7/16" wide and 3/4" high. Each tie clip is 1" wide. Dispite the minor defects, this is still a nice collectible Railroad set and will look great being worn by a Railroad Buff!!!

These sterling silver cuff links have a handmade look, and are made of four buttons formed in the shape of rosettes, linked by sturdy silver chains. The centers are domed and highly oxidized around the dome. The cuff links are unmarked, but test strongly for sterling. Each button measures 1/2 inch across.
A heavy pair of mid-century 14K yellow gold dome cufflinks in a Florentine finish, each centering a gypsy-set round brilliant cut citrine. The gemstones are medium slightly brownish orangy-yellow in color and constrast nicely with the surrounding gold. The toggle backs are marked “14K”.

A nice pair of oval-faced cufflinks worked in platinum over 18K gold, each face set with a 4-pt single-cut diamond and a 4-pt square step cut blue sapphire. The stones are set on the bias and are highlighted with raised platinum bars that are slightly polished to contrast with the matte finish of the surround platinum background. The faces are connected by chains to gold torpedo backs. Tested and guaranteed platinum and 18K.

A very attractive pair of Victorian 14K yellow gold bean-back cufflinks finished in the softly bloomed “Russian” finish popular in pieces from the Art Nouveau era. The oval faces are simply finished with a beaded border and are star-set with small round brilliant cut rhodolite garnets. The stones have a very pleasing strongly purplish-red hue, easily mistaken for ruby. The backs are marked “14K”.

A very attractive pair of Napoleon III 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the canted square faces studded with round mixed-cut rubies and old mine cut diamonds. The rubies are in the finest color-range, with strongly saturated, very slightly purplish-red hue. The nature of the inclusions in the stones suggests they are Burmese in origin. The diamonds are of similarly fine quality. The gold surface has a very subtle texturizing treatment that suggests moiré silk...
These two-sided engraved sterling cuff links are composed of discs decorated with a center shield with space for initials, on an engine-turned background. They are oblong, engraved on each side, with each side attached to the other by a strong chain. The cuff links are of hollow construction. The hallmarks, located on the back of each button, indicate they were assayed in Chester, in 1890, for 9kt gold. The maker’s mark of C&A stands for Candelent & Adams, of Birmingham. Elaborate wirework is the defining feature of these distinctive cuff links, which are unmarked but test as silver. They are gilded, including the wirework, and are enhanced with maroon enamel. The buttons are attached to silver gilt bars by chains. They come in a small box with the name of a jeweler in Lisbon, Portugal. The buttons measure a little over 5/8 inch in diameter.
This pair of 14kt gold, oval, two-sided cuff links is a very fine example of early 20th-century American jewelry-making. They are mounted with discs of mother-of-pearl, and each side is set with a tiny seed pearl. The edges are intricately engraved with geometric designs; the cuff links show hardly any signs of wear. The secure connecting figure-eight bars bear the maker’s mark of Larter & Sons, of Newark, NJ. They measure 5/8 inch long by a little over 3/8 inch wide.
