These hexagonal 14Kt tri-color gold cufflinks were made circa 1930. One side of each cufflink is centered by an old-mine diamond, bezel set in pink gold. The hexagon around the center diamond is made of yellow gold, and the outer edge is finely engraved with a branch design made of white gold. A fine and very heavy pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks the in the “stirrup” (“etrier”) style popularized by Cartier in the late Art Deco period. The cufflinks are formed as sharply arched bands of open curb link chain. The hinged closing mechanism is hidden inside the cuff when the cufflinks are being worn. Each cufflink is fully hallmarked with French “tete d’aigle” hallmarks for 18K gold and with a master goldsmith’s mark.
