A handsome pair of 14k yellow gold cufflinks, the faces set with Essex crystals depicting dogs (definitely terriers, and most likely fox terriers). The dogs are colorfully painted on the reverse-carved crystal and set against mother of pearl backgrounds. The cufflinks are finished with toggle backs. The toggles are stamped “14K” and have a patent number, indicating the patent was still active when the cufflinks were made.
These classic Deco design 14Kt gold and onyx cuff-links sport hexagonal onyx columns held by gold collars. The toggle backs are 14Kt yellow gold and the springs work well. The onyx columns are ¾” long. The cuff-links are in excellent condition.
Art Deco 18K gold and sapphire stirrup cufflinks in the style first popularized by Cartier. The heavy mesh sides are accented with two blue sapphire sugarloaf cabochons on each cufflink. Each is stamped with French 18K gold hallmarks.

An unusual and handsome 14K yellow gold tie bar designed as a Gothic-style strap hinge by Larter & Sons. When not being used to hold a tie in place, the piece could also be used as a money clip. The design is nicely detailed with beveled edges and raised bolts. The back is stamped with Larter's hallmark. Larter manufactured pieces such as this for leading jewelry retailers such as Tiffany and Cartier.

A substantial pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks, each of the oval faces inset with a mother-of-pearl plaque centering a bezel-set round brilliant diamond of approximately .6 carat. The outer edges of the faces is finished in a border of small round diamonds. The hinges and either end of the back closures are finished with spessartite garnet cabochons. These silver cuff links are of a trapezoidal shape, with the top featuring a hammered surface with three recessed and oxidized linear bands. There are Polish marks on the bridge bars for .800 silver and the maker’s mark for ORNO, a Warsaw design cooperative active in the 1960s and 1970s. Four nicely matched, helmet-shaped pieces of amber distinguish these unusual cuff links. They are connected by silver pins and very sturdy bridge links with marks for .875 silver content, the Soviet Russian date mark for 1979, and the assay office in Riga (currently Latvia). They appear hardly worn, and the amber is in lovely condition. The larger buttons measure 1 1/8 inches by ½ inch; the smaller buttons, 7/8 inch by ¼ inch.
