A rare and very interesting pair of flip-up stirrup cufflinks in 14K yellow gold by Carrington. Each end of the connectors are fitted with a green nephrite jade cabochon. This style was popularized by Cartier, and this is the only we’ve seen by the great American maker, Carrington. Here is a classic pair of 10kt gold, two-sided cuff links with a black enamel rim from the 1920s to late 1930s. The enamel is totally intact; the gold shows a warm, aged patina. The bridge bars and rings are quite secure. The bars bear a mark of 10 with a K in between the digits, indicating the maker as Kohn & Company of Newark, NJ. Each button measures ½ inch in diameter.
