These cool, sterling silver cuff links have a unique, "rocklike" design. They measures 7/8" x 1 1/8" x 3/8". The backs are marked with the James Avery hallmark (3 candle candelabra flanked with the letter J on the bottom left and the letter A on the bottom right with Ster below with or without the copyright C). The toggle findings are both marked STERLING as well. They have good heft and are in excellent condition: c. 1960s.

A handsome, inventive pair of modernist silver cufflinks with opaque black champleve enamel faces by Meka Reklamegaver (1951-89). The black enamel is pierced with overlapping elongated silver teardrops. The connectors are marked “Meka Sterling Denmark”.

Origin: Holte, Denmark, ca. 1960. Condition: excellent, no enamel damage. Size: 7/8” x 9/16”. Weight: 11.4 grams.
