Add a touch of class to any sleeve with this pair of vintage gold plated damascene toggle back cuff links. Damascene was an process of inlaying metal objects with 22K gold or silver decoration. These dome shaped cuff links were made in Japan, circa 1950 featuring a mythical Imperial phoenix bird surrounded by flora and fauna, unmarked, swivel toggle back. Size: 7/8" diameter. Very good vintage condition with wear to the dome.

A wonderful pair of Victorian cufflinks, the faces fashioned as bloodstone (heliotrope) spheres encircled by gold snakes. The stones are nicely mottled with red and green colors and spin freely on their axes. The snakes circle around the bloodstones at the equator and their heads rise up over the top. The gold is finished in the slightly matte “Russian finish” often used in Art Nouveau jewelry and the snakes are lightly engraved with scaly details...

These 1920s cuff links are beautifully enameled in dark blue on a white ground; elaborate carved designs show through the enamel. Each button is edged with embossed sterling silver scrolls. Embedded vertical silver lines run down the center of the white ground and frame the blue diamond-shaped reserves. The bridge bars are secure and show no signs of metal stress; they each bear the maker’s mark C.Q.&R. for Carter, Qvarnstrom & Remington (1899-1930s), of Attleboro, MA ...

An exceptional pair of Edwardian 14K yellow gold double-faced cufflinks by Carrington. Each of the cufflinks features one face centered with an old European cut diamond and on face with a round cut blue sapphire. The stones are surrounded by a band of opaque royal blue champlevé enamel enclosed within a laurel wreath border. This design is really one of the most elegantly sophisticated we’ve seen any of the classic Newark makers. The gemstones are of very good color and clarity...

A classic pair of 18K yellow gold and sapphire cufflinks by Van Cleef & Arpels. The square faces are worked in a herringbone motif surrounding sugarloaf cabochons of blue sapphire. A heavy pair of mid-century double-sided cufflinks, the faces woven from gold rope. The overall look is similar to the Parisian work of Georges Lenfant. The back faces are smaller for ease in putting them through the cuff. The faces are joined by figure-8 connectors stamped “14K.”

A very attractive pair of Victorian beanback cufflinks, the oval faces set with with pyrope-almandite garnet cabochons. The gemstones have a much brighter red coloring than many garnets. The gold settings are decorated with foliate scrolled borders. The backs of the faces are marked “14K”.

This is a very fine pair of vintage 18K yellow gold cufflinks made by the Swiss luxury jewelry firm Meister, having raised concentric ball shape design attached to mesh links with press stud enclosures, C 1950, each signed MEISTER, makers trademark and 750. Weight: 19.9g; Size: Ball 1/2", Total length-1 3/4"; Condition is excellent.

One side oval, the other oblong; both sides are marked sterling. The bridge links are secure and the abalone is in nice condition, with no cracks or chips. The longer side measures ¾ inch long, the other measures ½ inch long.

A very handsome pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks in a strongly linear, architectural style. The faces are set at one end with iolites cut as sugarloaf cabochons and at the other with bluish-violet chalcedonies cut as triangular cabochons. The use of transparent, intense bluish-violet iolites with softer translucent chalcedonies in the same color family is an inspired choice and really sets these cufflinks apart. The faces are connected by solid bridges to hinged backs...

With their centers of crossed silver wire, these 1920s cuff links have the look of stitched buttons. They feature mother-of-pearl discs with black enamel dotted borders. They bear European silver marks on the back, and though they are hard to make out, they likely indicate .800 silver. Each button measures ½ inch in diameter; they have sturdy bridge chains. A very attractive pair of late Arts & Crafts or early Art Deco silver cufflinks by Saethers Gull og Solvvarefabrikk, a Norwegian silversmith known for inventive designs. One face of each cufflink is hinged for ease in putting through the cuff. The connectors are fully hallmarked.

A handsome pair of early Art Deco 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces designed in a sort of "Prince of Wales feather" pattern. Each face is highlighted with three old mine cut diamonds in milligrained platinum collet settings. The diamonds have nice color and are well-set for maximum sparkle. The faces are pierced to emphasize the three-dimensionality of the design. The baton backs are attached with chains. Tested and guaranteed 18K gold and platinum.
