This antique necklace consists of large bells alternating with (symbolic) lotus pods. The bells are roughly 1.5 inches long. Though it has a hook closure, it is long enough to slip over the head of the wearer...Really fun to wear but not to the opera. It is made of low grade silver which was commonly used by various tribal groups throughout Central Asian, and the Far East. The filigree work on the bells was most common to Northern India, Himalayas, Nepal.

The clasp is marked K24 for the highly decorative 24K gold metalwork of multi figural butterfly, bird, moon, boat, flower, etc in gold silver inlay motifs. Acquired from an Amita jewelry collector. This is so well executed that it is very likely an unsigned Amita necklace.

This fine sterling ring is a size 5. It has an oval shape and consists of 14 sawtooth, bezel-set, turquoise cabs, surrounding the central, oval, turquoise stone: sawtooth, bezel-set, as well. The artist's work is fantastic. The band has nice, Navajo stamp work. It is marked STERLING with the maker's mark of a conjoined JP. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.
