Chinese export long necklace in the form of prayer beads, with carved cinnabar lacquer beads, carved round peach pit beads, carved oblong olive nut or wood beads, and a large pendant or mala with cloisonne enameling in amber, red, black, green, and dark brown tones. Circa 1950. There are six oblong olive nut beads, four with monkey motifs, one with a tiger and one with what looks like a hyena possibly. There are eight peach pit beads and 37 cinnabar beads. 34 inches wearable length...

This vintage/antique lapis lazuli beaded necklace has lapis stones which are both variagated in color and graduated in size. At each end of the necklace is a silver ball next to the barrel clasp. This strand of perfectly matched graduated beads measures 20 inches long.

This hollow silver anklet is from the Nuristani area of Afghanistan. With the loose metal rattle rolling inside the hollow space, a soft noise was created as the wearer moves. This anklet has nice patina and has a few minor dents, which attest to the age and travels of the artifact.

This beautiful green turquoise nuggets and shell heishi necklace from the American Southwest is 29" long. The larger nuggets are 1" long and the smallest is 5/8" long. This antique necklace consists of large bells alternating with (symbolic) lotus pods. The bells are roughly 1.5 inches long. Though it has a hook closure, it is long enough to slip over the head of the wearer...Really fun to wear but not to the opera. It is made of low grade silver which was commonly used by various tribal groups throughout Central Asian, and the Far East. The filigree work on the bells was most common to Northern India, Himalayas, Nepal.
