Reply below. Acquired pre internet era as a collectible antique "Victorian" snake motif "wooden" bracelet which now appears to be a Black or Gold Coral branch bracelet carved crossover bypass bangle in snake motif, yet resembling carved Mississippi mud bakelite in color and swirls.
Also sometimes called "Gold" and can be almost black in color. It has an ethnographic "Easter Island" odd look snake appeal as well...

Reply below. This vintage Japanese damascene - nunome zogan metalwork fan necklace is expertly rendered in what is often described as in the style of Komai. The clasp is marked K24 for the highly decorative 24K gold metalwork of multi figural butterfly, bird, moon, boat, flower, etc in gold silver inlay motifs. Acquired from an Amita jewelry collector. This is so well executed that it is very likely an unsigned Amita necklace.

Large by Western standards, this is actually the "childs" size version of this foo dog necklace worn by the Chinese Miao minority 70-90 years ago. Made of low grade silver, typical of Chinese jewelry of the time period, the intricate pendant is 5.5 inches across, 6.5 inches long and suspended from a long hand-made chain. this antique Tibetan pendant may have originally been used as earring or clothing ornament. I have slipped a simple black cord so it can now be used as a necklace. Coral and turquoise beads and silver decorations are all strung on a long silver post, so they can pivot around. the silver filigree disc at the bottom is missing one small filigree wire element, and possibly there was one a small stone in the middle of the disc...pendant measures 3+ inches long
