This necklace consists of 2 carved ivory beads 3/4ths inch diameter, 8 large carved bone beads 3/4th inch, and 88 smaller carved bone beads (1/2 inch). Each large bone and ivory bead has a protective metal sleeve around the stringing hole. If opened up the strand would measure approx 48 inches...beautiful patina on both the ivory and the bone beads....

This Yao necklace and matching pair of earrings have added beads and long silk tassels. Both are light weight and easy to wear. The earrings are hollow with the same repeated design pattern on the backside. The wire loop may be a bit thick as they were made to accommodate the large ear holes which are traditional for the Chinese minority groups. These loops could easily be changed out for posts or a thinner wire hoop.

Outstanding very big vintage Santo Domingo necklace with a double strand of turquoise free form beads and spiny oyster heishe beads, and two large jaclas with turquoise heishe beads and cream stone beads. With the original stringing done in the traditional manner, on heavy string with some ends visible. Collectors may wish to preserve this but it could certainly be restrung. This is a heavy necklace with carnelian and a blue glass embellishment (three are missing as well as one small bottom dangle). The center stone shows some wear ( see photo). The chain, a replacement but identical to the original, measures 30", the pendant 3" x 4". Purchased in Africa during the 70's, the age is unknown.

Egyptian Paste glass head of ancient Pharaoh head, wearing a crown with the Uraeus cobra , the molded head is done in purplish cobalt blue and sea foam blue green with tiny flecks of copper in the glass , with mold seams showing at the sides. I have listed many pictures of this since I use a point and shoot camera and this is as detailed as I can get .The loop is not gold but some kind of base metal , the face is pretty well detailed and has no damage .Size H 1.5" w 1" d 3/4"
