A lovely Chinese carved green jade pendant in the form of a melon with a crane, leaf and integral bail ring. The jade has good translucency, light mottling, and nicely saturated color.

The crane, appearing along the upper left side of the melon's front, frequently represents longevity; the coins prosperity; and the melon itself has a number of meanings including fertility and plenty.

A natural color jadeite peach & bat pendant

Antique Peranakan or Straits Chinese silver belt, probably early 20th century. With its Aceh style Phoenix bird theme this belt was traditionally used by ladies at weddings and other festivities. The buckle – now missing but easily replaced by a matching textile ribbon - would have held a larger version of the Phoenix motif. With diffuse marks but tested for a silver content of 500/1000. This beautiful and colorful pendant has a diameter of 1 1/8". The Tree of Life is adorned with a lovely, rope-twist border, as well as the raised tree on a textured surface. The tree has 5 vivid rhinestones: blue, red, green, topaz and clear. It is circa 1960 - 1970 and in excellent condition.

This antique necklace consists of large bells alternating with (symbolic) lotus pods. The bells are roughly 1.5 inches long. Though it has a hook closure, it is long enough to slip over the head of the wearer...Really fun to wear but not to the opera. It is made of low grade silver which was commonly used by various tribal groups throughout Central Asian, and the Far East. The filigree work on the bells was most common to Northern India, Himalayas, Nepal.

Qing Dynasty era Noble lady's gilt silver hairpin with the jadeite like green glass, very nice and finely crafted by those skillful silversmith, great condition for your collection

This Yao necklace and matching pair of earrings have added beads and long silk tassels. Both are light weight and easy to wear. The earrings are hollow with the same repeated design pattern on the backside. The wire loop may be a bit thick as they were made to accommodate the large ear holes which are traditional for the Chinese minority groups. These loops could easily be changed out for posts or a thinner wire hoop.

This fine sterling ring is a size 5. It has an oval shape and consists of 14 sawtooth, bezel-set, turquoise cabs, surrounding the central, oval, turquoise stone: sawtooth, bezel-set, as well. The artist's work is fantastic. The band has nice, Navajo stamp work. It is marked STERLING with the maker's mark of a conjoined JP. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

Large by Western standards, this is actually the "childs" size version of this foo dog necklace worn by the Chinese Miao minority 70-90 years ago. Made of low grade silver, typical of Chinese jewelry of the time period, the intricate pendant is 5.5 inches across, 6.5 inches long and suspended from a long hand-made chain. The heads of the foo dogs are in a pin which allows them to turn freely and the central "flower" is also suspended on a wire which allows it to spin...
