This necklace consists of 2 carved ivory beads 3/4ths inch diameter, 8 large carved bone beads 3/4th inch, and 88 smaller carved bone beads (1/2 inch). Each large bone and ivory bead has a protective metal sleeve around the stringing hole. If opened up the strand would measure approx 48 inches...beautiful patina on both the ivory and the bone beads....
Originally, this was the largest of a set of 3 graduated matching silver necklaces. They were worn as a set for festival by the Miao Chinese Ethnic Minority women. The necklace was skillfully hand-formed from a sheet of silver into a curving tapered tube with a reposse pattern of 2 dragons chasing pearl. It spans 10.5 inches across.
This wide cuff Chinese bracelet has deeply repousse design composed of detailed symbols related to Miao Ethic Minority myths and legends. Such bracelets would have been worn in matched pairs, one on each wrist, by the women of the "short skirt" Miao of Dan Zhai, and the bracelets would have been handed down from mother to daughter for generations.
The cuff is almost 3 inches at the widest point in the front because of its large size and rolled edge it easily slips onto most wrists.

This is a Straits Nyonya silver plate or silver bantal/pillow end , silver repousse work to ornament the wedding pillow or wedding ceremonial ornaments for the Straits Chinese and Malays here, the pair is not in very fine state with some repairs and with wear/tear signs, it is more than 70 yrs old and older. Two bands of embossed silver enclose this very interesting bracelet of what looks to be black coral. The silver bands feature deeply impressed and oxidized floral designs on the outer surface and are attached to the bangles by tiny pins. They are very secure and the bangle itself exhibits very few signs of wear. The bracelet is likely from the 1920s and has a roomy internal circumference of 8 1/2 inches.

A hand made low grade silver "flower" pendant with 15 faceted natural antique-cut rubies, a single faceted natural emerald, three oval turquoise stones and opaline glass. Reply below. This vintage Japanese damascene - nunome zogan metalwork fan necklace is expertly rendered in what is often described as in the style of Komai. The clasp is marked K24 for the highly decorative 24K gold metalwork of multi figural butterfly, bird, moon, boat, flower, etc in gold silver inlay motifs. Acquired from an Amita jewelry collector. This is so well executed that it is very likely an unsigned Amita necklace.
