Large by Western standards, this is actually the "childs" size version of this foo dog necklace worn by the Chinese Miao minority 70-90 years ago. Made of low grade silver, typical of Chinese jewelry of the time period, the intricate pendant is 5.5 inches across, 6.5 inches long and suspended from a long hand-made chain. The heads of the foo dogs are in a pin which allows them to turn freely and the central "flower" is also suspended on a wire which allows it to spin...
Very interesting pin and earring stag horn set, probably German, late 19th century. The pin holds and old photograph of a woman (with painted accents on her earrings); the earrings hold tiny edelweiss flowers – very sweet. Very good condition; cracked glass to one earring. Pin measures 2”; earrings measure 1 1/4” from top of wire.
Interesting pre Columbian design influence pin made of sterling silver with 18k gold and hand painted enamel work. This pin is signed, " 925 18K." It was made in Peru by Native craftsmen. There is some gold worn off in tiny spots but gives it age character otherwise it is in great shape. This pin measures 1 1/2" in diameter.
This lovely, sterling silver ring is set with a yellowish or mustard-colored, tear drop stone. It is a size 6 1/2. The back is marked with the Taxco Mexico "spread eagle" with the number "3" in the middle. There are also 3 other marks that are not quite clear; but, look like 925, the silversmith's initials and...? This ring is in excellent condition and would make a wonderful holiday gift. Fabulous Blackamoor pin vintage 1930's-40's. This pin in made of a composition material. It is all hand painted and in fine condition. This fine deco piece measures about 1 5/8" long and over 1 1/4" wide.

This antique Chinese silver bracelet is hinged at the back and opens in the front. The silver work displays plant leaves and a bird. The bead work is both coral and turquoise. Bracelet is stamped "China" which according to trade laws makes it late Qing, about 1890. Its in very good condition
Vintage antique Circa 1900 honey cognac color amber cross faceted 'buttons' riveted on to a gold gilt or rolled gold on brass frame. Most likely Russian, Polish or Baltic area.

This beautiful green turquoise nuggets and shell heishi necklace from the American Southwest is 29" long. The larger nuggets are 1" long and the smallest is 5/8" long. The nuggets are in excellent condition and have aged beautifully.The Heishi beads between the nuggets are characteristically from the Southwest. They might even be olive shell.
Vintage filigree niello silver Persian Gulf scenery bracelet that while being shown at a show several years ago, was seen by an elderly engineer who worked in Iran in the 50s. He said, '...this bracelet was commissioned by the Shah of Iran as a gift in gratitude for the wives of engineers who were there building the oil fields...' Note the odd motifs scribed on to the niello...
Coin silver amber necklace that was purchased in Africa during the early '70's. Missing are three of the blue glass embellishments, one bell on the bottom of the pendant and a jump ring in the upper section. The chain measures 21";the pendant hangs 4". 62 grams.

The clasp is marked K24 for the highly decorative 24K gold metalwork of multi figural butterfly, bird, moon, boat, flower, etc in gold silver inlay motifs. Acquired from an Amita jewelry collector. This is so well executed that it is very likely an unsigned Amita necklace.

An early and outstanding version of the bridge bracelet, who has been copied extensively in the Ottoman and later periods, but has it's origin in Macedonia / Thrace in the medieval period. A lovely Chinese carved green jade pendant in the form of a melon with a crane, leaf and integral bail ring. The jade has good translucency, light mottling, and nicely saturated color.
The crane, appearing along the upper left side of the melon's front, frequently represents longevity; the coins prosperity; and the melon itself has a number of meanings including fertility and plenty.
The pendant was originally one of several carvings incorporated into a very good 1920s Chinese necklace...
