This pretty pin is in the style of Murrle, Bennett and Archibald Knox. The design is that of a heart interlaced with a navette-shaped frame (this interlace-type motif is also called “entrelac”). It is centered by an oval turquoise, and has a safety chain – always useful! Unsigned, and marked 9ct. It measures 1-1/2 x 3/4", and weighs 2.6g. This yellow gold necklace is centered by a dark red garnet (probably a spessartite). Garnets are the birthstone for January, and were traditionally thought to keep travelers safe. The dangle is set with a blister pearl which has a mellow off-white color. There are 3 tiny seed pearls in the main setting. It is hallmarked “9ct”, and the attached chain is marked “375 9k.” The pendant measures 1-5/16" x 7/8", and the total wearable length is 16-3/4" (we have extenders available)...

The front of this locket features a lovely Egyptian girl or woman – or perhaps a goddess! - in profile, wearing a headdress (from which a few locks of hair have escaped – so charming!), and hoop earrings. She is nestled within a crescent moon (symbolic of the female principal, intuition, and new beginnings). Inside it has both photo rings, but no celluloid. That can easily be fixed with plastic, if desired. Unusually large, it measures 1-5/8”, and weighs .77 ounce...

A elegant brooch worked in 18K yellow gold filigree centering a round brilliant-cut amethyst surrounded by natural seed pearls. The amethyst’s collet is enhanced with millegraining, as is the remainder of the filigree work. The edge is finished with a border of wirework rosettes. The quality of workmanship is superb. A beautifully detailed carving of an unusual stone cameo depicting a man is set in a 14Kt pink gold frame. The early 20th century oval cameo pendant measures 35 X 27 millimeters without the jump ring and the bail.

Very simple yet elegant is this beveled oval lapis broach set in 14Kt yellow gold. The lapis is 1 ¼” or 31 millimeter long and ¾” or 19 millimeter wide. The overall measurements of the broach are 1 3/8” or 35 millimeters by 15/16” or 23 millimeters.

This pin features a lovely grapevine with its grape and vine motif from The Arts and Crafts period. It measures 1 1/2 x 2". It is convex (approximately 3/8", at deepest). The pin stem is brass. It is marked STERLING. It has good heft and is in great condition.
