Great examples of Finnish Modernist design, two brutalist rings made of bronze by Hannu Ikonen for Valo Koru, Finland. May be purchased individually or as a pair.

The ring with a more copper colored patina currently measures a size 7 1/2. Has a split shank so it can be adjusted. Face of ring measures 1 1/8" in diameter. Marked Made in Finland on the inside.

A great example of Finnish brutalist design, a pendant necklace of textured bronze attributed to the Swedish jewelry designer, Owe Johanssen. There are many similar designs attributed to him. The bale is marked Made in Finland.

Pendant measures 2" at the widest and 2 3/8" in total to the top of the bale. Chain measures 19" long and has a clever adjustable slide in locking closure.

A wonderful and rare pair of patinated copper modernist earrings by the renowned African American jeweler, Art Smith. The spiral design incorporates small raised circles for added texture.

These screw back earrings measure 1" long and 3/4" wide. Both are signed with the 'Art Smith' script signature.

A very unusual hand made copper necklace with eight curled dangles and a central amber colored teardrop. Lightly hammered curved figure eight shaped links. The dangles have little brass beads at each end.

The necklace measures approximately 18" around. Longest drop is 3 1/2". Hook clasp is on the side and holds securely.

Has a few minor areas of verdigris. Heavy, thick copper.

Very detailed hand wrought work.

This is a lovely Victorian pin has a coral branch supporting three dangles with coral beads and a small coral branch. The dangles give movement and liveliness when pin is worn. The whiplash design of the mounting suggests that the design has a strong early Art Nouveau influence. The pin is gold-filled and it is circa 1885.

This charming pin is the embodiment of Victorian design. A very stylized butterfly perches on a row of 'gold' ball-shaped dangles. The butterfly is centered with a colorless brilliant, and flanked by small ruby pastes at each side. As was common at the time in the Victorian era, a matching stickpin acts as a safety feature as well as being pretty. The pin is a generous 1 1/2" and is gold filled. There is a maker's mark PC Co. Two very cool brooches in brass by Peggy Miller, an American studio jeweler who worked in Baltimore in the 1950's -60's. May purchase as a pair or individually.

The fish brooch measures 2" across and 1 1/2" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Signed Peggy Miller on the back. Has some tarnish.

This splendid Victorian brooch is an example of the Egyptian Revival style. It is silver gilt with a polychrome enamel winged pharaoh. The old style of the tube hinge and C clasp date it as prior to 1900. tube hing. It is marked 800 (for silver content) and has an indecipherable maker's mark. The pin is 1 1/4 " X 5/8". There is a small crack in the enamel of one feather. It is 19th century in age.

A very unusual hand wrought copper necklace with lightly hammered curved links. The end of each link slips through a small slit and is then hammered flat so it won't come out. Hard to explain but ingenious!

The necklace measures approximately 34" around. There is no clasp, meant to slide over the head. Unsigned.

In very nice condition with a dark warm patina and lots of attention to detail.
