Doris Silver was a shop in Taxco during the Spratling era. She offered her space to craftsmen to produce quality and stunning jewels. This necklace is very heavy repousse with a wearable 17in. long with it's widest point being 7/8th in. The patina is naturally dark and thick. The design is floral with twisting and turning vines. Hidden within is a drop of 2.5in. across and 2 in. tall. I have never seen another like this one. No damage, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

This silver and enamel pin represents the armed forces, WWII, commemorated sons of the military service. It is shaped like a heart, making it a sweetheart pin as well. This pin is sterling silver and enamel. It measures 1/2" x 1/2". It is circa 1940s and is in excellent condition.

Early SAM KRAMER modernist sterling ring with rutilated quartz cabochon, c.1948. Top is raised in best Kramer style with 4 tubes of silver and stone is set in darkened silver inset background(photo #1 is lighter than actual background). The repousse work is outstanding on this design 543 Los Castillo bracelet. It is 2 inches tall with a hook closure. The old linear hallmark and the design itself shows that this was the work of Margot Van Voorhies when married to Antonio Castillo. Together they formed the taller Los Castillo. The links are rounded to fit the arm perfectly and are 6.75 inches long. An outstanding bracelet to add to a collectors wardrobe. It will be noticed by all that gaze upon it.

Ca 1940 Here is another early bracelet and necklace with hematite stones created by Laurence Foss, a designer at Georg Jensen. The stones are in perfect condition and the silver has a lovely patina. Both the necklace and bracelet are marked with the Foss stamp Sterling. The bracelet is also marked 416A while the necklace, 416-1/2. The bracelet measures 7" x 3/4"and weighs 25.5 grams; the necklace is 15-1/2" including hook and weighs 33grams. A lovely collector's piece.

Bold and striking long sterling earrings designed by Karl Gustav Hansen for Hans Hansen of Denmark. These earrings are from the "Future" line of jewelry manufactured by Hans Hansen between 1932 and 1948. They hang 2 3/4" long, are 3/4" wide at the bottoms and are screw backs. Wild Picasso-esque design.

This Mexican silver necklace weighs 65 grams and is 16in. long with each tulip being 1 1/8th inches tall. It is double signed as shown with TSL. A very fine, large vintage silver knifewing pin with multi stone inlay of spiny oyster, turquoise, jet and mother of pearl, circa 1940. Knifewing represents the Zuni god of war. This symbol was worn by warriors to protect them in battle, but also represents courage, honor, wisdom and strength. The pin measures 3 1/8" by 2 3/4" and weighs 35 grams. This lovely enameled pansy, originally a screwback earring, has been converted to a colorful ring with the addition of sterling silver shank. The pansy is enameled in bright shades of purple and yellow. The enamel has a slight iridescent effect and is translucent so the engraved silver shines through for added texture.
