Fine sterling and black enamel cuff links. They measure just under 1" x just under 1" x 1/8". The sterling swirls are a nice accent. The back of each is marked BETO TAXCO and ? in a circle with 925 in the middle. They also have the eagle mark with 3. They have good heft. A tiny piece of the sterling swirl is "pinched." This Silver Necklace by Fred Davis is a rare and seldom seen piece created in the 1930's. Featuring silver bands that are slightly curved to fit around the neck. It measures 1 1/2" wide by 15" long with a three hook closure. Nice and heavy at 137 grams. Marked with the joined FD, Sterling, Mexico. Light age related tarnish but no other damage. A truly fabulous and highly collectible piece.

A puzzling piece - though it is signed “Birks”, the hallmark does not look like the Canadian company’s commonly encountered marks - this vintage sterling vermeil pin is a small work of art. Slender and elegant, the flower it represents consists of a textured silver stem while its leaves and bloom are made of molded jadeite glass. The glass is supple and glistens thanks to the glaze that was applied over it and the brooch has that romantic, nature-loving air of 1940s jewelry...

This stunning Los Castillo sterling silver necklace has a huge presence. The necklace has a 97 gram weight and a total length of 16.5 inches wearable. This fabulous bracelet by Schaverien & Eastmead of Birmingham, England, is 7” long and 3/8” wide at the widest points. Each panel features enamel shading from dark green to pale green to magenta and back again. In between each panel is a round blister pearl. A very well constructed pair of sterling silver and pearl cufflinks by Jean Lasnier. He was a member of the Metal Arts Guild between 1951-64 with many of the well known studio artisans of the Mid Century Modern jewelry movement. A pair of modernist sterling silver clip earrings, #116 B designed in 1955 by Edvard Kindt-Larsen for Georg Jensen, Denmark. The B indicates that these are the larger examples.

Measure 1/2" across and 7/8" high. Marked Georg Jensen in a dotted oval, 925S Denmark and style 116 B. There is another very tiny hallmark on the end of each of the clips but we can't make them out. May be a U.K. import mark.

No need to have pierced ears, these are clips which hold securely...

A funky Scandinavian modern sterling silver pendant by Jergen Jensen of Denmark circa 1970s. This 1-1/16" x 1" anvil- or anchor-shaped pendant has a nice incised design. This superb pin is by Taxco silversmith Sigi Pineda. The boomerang design is complimented by the overlay of dots on the oxidized background. It is signed "Sigi Tasco" "STERLING HECHO EN MEXICO" and numbered "60" with assay mark 3 (see pictures). It measures 2 1/2" x 1" and is in excellent condition.

Less-is-more would be the term I would use to describe this Carmen Beckmann modernist ring if it weren’t for that stone! Molten caramel golds fill the tiger’s eye slab almost in an ombre arrangement so that the ring changes the way it looks as the light that hits it changes. A true chameleon with a strong, “masculine” (am I even allowed the term any more?) setting, all angles and straight lines and a veritable show-stopper by one of the few female contributors to Mexico’s 20th c Silver...
