This is a Victorian shell cameo brooch deeply carved to depict a woman strolling in a wooded village and set within a silver twisted-ribbon oval frame and twisted wire border; good condition having a small hairline crack; measurement: 2 _ in. x 2 _ in. oval.

My second M Velazquez silver brooch for the day, this Mexican Deco repousse "portrait" I have never had (nor, I believe, seen) before. As opposed to the first figural pin, here the "sitter" is shown in profile, his likeness set in a raised frame against a stippled background. Velazquez's repoussage can be very dramatic and in the piece at hand it is also enhanced by deep chasing and oxidation which brings out the sculpturality of the face and the impressive headdress...

A classic look from a well-known Italian designer. Made of scored, slightly twisted links, each link bisected by a textured bar. Bracelet has full set of marks, indicating a registration city of Arrezzo, Italy, and .800 silver content. Bracelet measures 9 inches long, including chain; inserting bar clasp into the second-to-last link reduces the length to 8 inches. Weight: 52.3 grams

A sterling silver abstract brooch by the MCM jeweler and sculpter, Joseph Skinger, (1911-1967). He was active in Vermont in the 1950s and 60s, working primarily in silver. Known for his modernist 'Slalom' ring.

This brooch measures 2 1/8" long and 1" at the widest. Marked Sterling Skinger.

This could also be worn as a pendant with a chain or cord laced through the curled top as shown.

Stunning and rare, especially in its use of the specific stone, this vintage Mexican silver necklace features a combination pin / pendant signed by Taxco's foremost lapidary, Felipe Martinez, and a substantial chain from the same period which I believe might be by the same maestro as it bears an Eagle assay mark that Martinez used. And yes, the superbly carved "mask" is teased out of tiger's eye stone though a more unusual kind that it often referred to as "hawk's" or "falcon's eye"...

This sterling silver necklace has a classic, timeless look that makes it a wardrobe staple. It is composed of alternating round beads and larger irregular-shaped ones with a pocked surface similar to a hammered look. It has an unidentified maker’s mark, but is probably American-made. The strand measures 22 1/2 inches long, end to end. Weight: 53.2 grams

This sterling Hobe bow pin has six (6) 8 mm stones and 5 hand applied ornamental buds around the three 8 mm stones on each side. The 8mm stones are purple, yellow, and blue. This Hobe pin is in excellent condition.

Circa mid-century, this parure is an extremely rare design from Margot van Voorhies Carr / Margot de Taxco.

The original design drawing is shown in the Penny C. Morrill book "Margot Van Voorhies: The Art of Mexican Enamelwork".

The necklace consists of three tiers alternating with two round button links, and a thick chain on each side with a ball tassel on one and a hook on the other. This is original to the necklace...

Rare sterling double layered biomorphic shaped cuff by New York Modernist Ed wiener. This is his early work and a design rarely seen. Measuring 5 " around in the inside plus a 1 1/4" opening, it is 1 7/8" at the widest point and weighs 63 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. Molds perfectly on the wrist and looks spectacular.

Bold, colorful and generously long this vintage Mexican chain necklace is signed by Cecilia and Tono, one of Taxco's most successful duos. The combination of chunky amethyst, slender sterling tubes and lozenge stations embellished with azur-malachite inlay is undoubtedly eye-catching and I love the irregular shape of the stone beads which underscores their hand-cut quality. Wear it alone or combine it with similar pieces, the result will be stunning either way...
