Early 1930's hand forged 980 sterling silver & copper cuff designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Heavy at 100 grams, this design is comprised of braided silver & copper bands framed by thick silver wire. The bracelet is 1 14" high. Interior measures 5 3/4" end to end with a 1 1/4" gap opening at the back. 1930's hallmarks read 980 WS TAXCO. Beautiful vintage condition and patina. Plateros was the name of Sigi Pinedas first shop. He was not open long at this taller and works with this signature are rare. From this shop I have found his very best works. Thick silver and always made with quality and this necklace shows all that off. The red coral branch is over 1.5in. long and has a length of 1 3/8th's in. wide. The necklace lays beautiful due to the hinged design. The diameter is 4.5in. across which is about 16.5 inch wearable...

A wonderful vintage hand wrought sterling silver bracelet in an Arts and Crafts design. Signed with a conjoined 'JM' for Joseph Masaniello, a New York Mid Century Modernist jeweler who was instructed in Arts and Crafts traditions. Also marked Sterling. Measures 7 7/8" long and 1" at the widest. Has a hook clasp that holds securely. Curved vines design sits nicely around the wrist. Nice warm patina, very well made.

A sterling silver modernist brooch by noted Mid Century jeweler, Caroline Gleick Rosene. This brooch is made from three thick squared off sterling wires attached to a small triangular piece of sterling. Marked Sterling Rosene on the back. Measures 2 1/4" across and 7/8" at the widest. Rollover safety clasp holds securely. Great example of Mid Century studio jewelry.

Marked Sterling, Denmark, Bent K, 925S, Style #3 and copyright sign. Measures 13" around plus an opening of 2 3/4". Can be adjusted slightly. Meant to sit on the collar bone. Would be best on a slender neck.

A very cool vintage modernist silver plated (probably) pendant by Erik Dennung circa 1970s. Pendant drops 4 1/2" and is 1 5/8" across. Marked Erik Dennung Made in Denmark. Also has the mark for B+D. In good condition, has some minor surface scratches and tarnish to the plating. Would look great on a neck ring. (We have those also if you need one.) Has a large bale so can accommodate a thick chain or neck ring. Impressive piece.

A Vintage Modernist abstract clamper cuff bracelet made of Sterling Silver signed Zagal Tasco. Measures approximately 7" around and 1 7/8" at the widest. Marked Zagal, Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, and Sterling on the inside. Marked with eagle #3 also. In very fine condition. Some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Heavy and well made. Spring is tight. Great organic design.

A Victorian engraved silver dome pin brooch with a purple glass stone. This late 19th century 1-5/8 x 1-1/8" pin features a bezel-set purple glass stone and it has ornate hand-engraving. It is unsigned but it tests as high grade silver and it is most likely Scandinavian. It has the original c-clasp, it weighs 4.4 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of expected wear to the soft glass stone...

A vintage modernist sterling silver brooch designed by Gertrude Engel for Anton Michelsen, from Sweden. Measure 1 5/8" across and 1 3/8" high. Has a brown swirled oval cabochon. Marked with the MIC hallmark and the three crowns silver standard mark used by Anton Michelsen when in Stockholm, Sweden from 1946-63. Also marked with S for the town mark, A9 for 1951 and Engel. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Silver has a warm patina...

A stunning vintage Mexican bracelet in sterling silver in the classic Fred Davis Chevron design. Featured in Mexican Silver, by Morrill and Berk on page 27. Measures approximately 7 7/8 " long and 1 1/8" wide. In very nice condition, has some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling. Has a box clasp that snaps securely. The craftsmanship and construction on this bracelet point to Fred Davis' work. Pre Eagle, (1948). Looks great on!
