This chain is nicely hand-constructed with applied cast curled pieces that are reminiscent of the applied and hand-worked French chains of the turn of the 20th century. This one appears to be a bit later; the beading looks to have been cast with the rest of the elements and connected with hand-formed S-shaped links. A modernist pair of pierced earrings in 830 silver designed by Jorma Laine for Kultateollisuus, Ky of Turku Finland. These earrings feature a stylized face in a sun. The polished face is in contrast to the oxidized background. They measures about 3/4" wide.

This c. 1910 buckle brooch is beautifully decorated with turquoise tour a guilloche enamel work, with round white enamel accents around the perimeter. The enamel is in excellent condition, save for two minute spots on two of the round white decorations. It is marked sterling on the back and features a secure C-clasp. This is a small pin, but its design reflects both charm and sophistication, with overlapping strands of sterling silver terminating in a smooth, fused surface. It is beautifully oxidized, which gives the piece depth, and nicely sets off the 6mm coral bead. The pin is marked ‘phyllis’ and sterling on the back, for modernist jeweler Phyllis Sklar. Sklar began selling her handcrafted jewelry in Greenwich Village during the 1950s, eventually moving to Provincetown, MA, where she died in 2010...

A 19thC Scottish banded onyx sterling silver pin brooch 1850-80. This 2-7/8 x 7/8" lozenge-shaped pin has the original c-clasp; the silver border is unmarked but tests as silver (the pin itself is silver plated). This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a small loss to the hand-mounted bezel and a tiny flake on the edge of the onyx (see images)...

This very flexible Diamonbar bracelet was pat. March 20,1917. It was made by the Wachenheimer Brothers, Inc., manufacturers of costume jewelry. They began their business in 1907 and ceased operation in 1931. They were located in Providence, Rhode Island. This bracelet is 7" long and 1/4" wide. It needs to be cleaned.

Wonderful early Navajo handmade 2 1/2" long sterling squash blossom earrings with stamping. These are screwbacks but could easily be converted for pierced ears. They are in fine original condition, weigh 11 grams and the reverse of the findings are marked sterling. Great Navajo earrings.

A vintage hand wrought studio sterling silver necklace with a stone drop. Features curved links graduating in size culminating in a greenish brown mottled stone pendant. Measures approximately 19" long. Pendant measures 1 3/4" long and 1 1/4" across. Interesting way that the silver wraps around the stone to hold it in place. Clever hook closure that holds securely. The stone has a hairline mark which actually shows more in the photo than in person. The stone is stable and does not move...
