This great, puffer fish / blow fish pendant can also be worn as a charm. It measures 1 1/8" from mouth to tail and is 3/4" "tall." It has blue rhinestone eyes and a wonderful, Mexican design. The tail is marked MEXICO 925, below initials that looks like CRL - ( all marks are slightly unstamped--see pictures). It is in excellent condition.

We are offering a very old, Mexican Silver carved amethyst necklace crafted with heavy repousse. The center stone drop is larger at 2in. x 1.75in. and is also smoother to the touch. The smaller carvings are sharper edged and have a more clear iridescence. Beautiful sterling period art nouveau nude woman cameo pin, c.1910. Heavy silver (.980) with turquoise oval cabochon in center, the scrolling designs with beads and cut out areas in precolumbian motifs, utlized during the revival of silver work in Taxco Mexico in the early 20th century, no artist stamp. This is one of our very favorite pieces: a striking Jugendstil (Germany and Austria’s Arts & Crafts) pendant which is enameled in white and purple. This is a Los Castillo design made by Hilario Lopez who worked for several Tallers through his career(of which one was Margot de Taxco) and he was an accomplished Maestro. The construction is open backed repousse but it is framed in heavy silver making a respectable 80 grams heavy. There is lots of bead work executed on this design and it is in impeccable condition. If you could find an original Los Castillo of this rare design it would cost at least twice what this one costs...

An unusual pendant by the noted modernist jeweler, Paul Lobel. This pendant, made of a sterling silver 'wishbone' with a dark rusty orange, probably carnelian drop, is a rare design. You can see lots of striations when it is held up to the light.

Modernism at it's best, this 970 silver & inlaid shell bracelet was designed & signed c. 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). Measuring 1 1/2" high at the front with a wearable interior length of 6 3/4", the bracelet weighs 86 grams & is in beautiful condition. The slide in clasp & safety chain are tight & secure. This design is pictured on p.152 SILVER SEDUCTION: THE ART OF MEXICAN MODERNIST ANTONIO PINEDA.

These brooches are Alfred Philippe designs of Nenette and Rintintin rag dolls. These are not hallmarked Trifari. They replicate Alfred Philippe's Trifari design pat 136,080 of Aug 3, 1943. They are more than 60 years old.

Dimensions: Nenette is 1 3/8" and is hallmarked "ling". Rintintin is 1 1/2" and is hallmarked "Ster".

This Mexican silver necklace weighs 65 grams and is 16in. long with each tulip being 1 1/8th inches tall. It is double signed as shown with TSL. Each tulip has hand made partitions that form the flower. Next the Maestro makes a tiny bead ball and centers it as the stamen to the bottom of the hanging flower. This was an intricate number of steps to build each flower alone and not to mention the swirl of the stem that attaches to the necklace...
