This bracelet's design is whimsical and marches to its own drummer, but is spot-on in how it is constructed for balance and comfort. The outer surface sports applied silver vine-like curls flanking a central garnet cabochon in an elevated bezel mount. The irregular-shaped terminals complete the quirky, expressionist influence exhibited in this very unusual bracelet. It is unmarked but tests definitively for silver...

Here is a pair of geometric earrings with a mid-century flair. They are topped by triangular pieces with textured and oxidized surfaces that contrast with the polished suspended ring and sphere at its base. They are unmarked but test definitively for silver; the decorative clip backs are secure and comfortable, and the earrings can be easily converted to posts. The earrings measure 1 3/4 inches long. Gross weight: 15.4 grams

With its spare, stylized design, this pin has a Nordic feel without the hefty look. It is constructed of shaped and forged sterling silver wire cleanly soldered together into a graceful harp-like shape. The flattened, forged pieces serve as the oars, and curled wires represent shields along the ship's midsection. The pin bears the marks for sterling and for the maker, Per Tengel Tveten, of Skien, Norway. It dates from the late 1960s to 1970s and measures 2 1/4 inches by 2 1/2 inches...

Designed by Marianne Berg, of the Uni David-Andersen workshop, this sterling silver pin features Nordic influences with a modernist flair. This openwork, rectangular ring of organic form is set with a highly polished chrysoprase bead. It is unmarked, but is clearly the work of a studio jeweler. It tests as silver, and has a rough, unfinished feel but is well constructed. The setting measures about 1 inch by 5/8 inch; the ring is sized at about a 6 1/4. Gross weightL 12 grams

I have not seen one of these in a long time. Marked Mexico Silver it is one of the very early jewels unsigned by the artist. The weight is 70 grams and the drop is 3 inches tall with the amethyst dangles. The length is 15.5 but with the curved inside form you gain more wearable length to at least 16in. Early unsigned pieces like this are quite collectable as they are some of the earliest made jewels from the Mexican Silver Renaissance and are disappearing from the market place...

Very rarely does one come upon Italian Renaissance Revival jewelry from the Deco period that are embellished in a style resembling Austro-Hungarian pieces from the turn of the 20th c. and I am thrilled to be presenting this necklace here. Old, mature gilding with faux pearls, chrysoprase cabs and emerald green glass gems add to the elaborate figural and foliate links...
