Classy Mexican Deco silver and amethyst brooch signed by Fred Davis, there is something about the sculpturality of this piece that makes me think it might be a Valentin Vidaurreta design. It is not just the specific shape the amethyst flowers have been carved in that can be seen in signed Vidaurreta jewelry, it is mostly the bewitching rotundness of the silver bud that makes me think so...

From a collection of good Navajo jewelry, most pre 1980s. In good condition, some wear and slight tarnist visible to silver, but the stone is in perfect condition, nicely polished and ...

One of the most coveted designs for Mexican Silver collectors is the Hector Aguilar feathers bracelet. The stones are amethyst and the height is 1.5 in. The markings are hand chased on top with deep and darkened recesses. The weight reflects it's presence at 156 grams heavy. It is built on a curve and you can see a posted pix that reflects that. It closes with a hook and safety chain. No chips, repairs or damage of any kind. An excellent example from the Mexican Silver Renaisance.

A vintage sterling silver bracelet by Georg Jensen Denmark, no. 124, designed by Nanna and Jorgen Ditzel in the 50's. It is comprised of a series of oval concave circles linked together and terminating with a secure concealed hook clasp. Because the clasp is invisible when the bracelet is on the wrist, the links flow and look continuous. Measuring 7 1/4" end to end, it is 1/2" wide and weighs 58 grams. This bracelet had very dark patina when I acquired it...

Modernist Los Castillo Mexican silver ring with azurite and malachite inlay in the Mozaico Azteca style, this is an exercise in modernist geometry. There is something distinctly zen, if you allow me the term, in the circle-in-circle design that dominates the flat ring face. Quite elemental still impressive because of the intense colors in the inlay, it has been well-loved and enjoyed during its long life...

Tane Orfebres is an important silver house in Mexico City, known as the Tiffany of Mexico. This bracelet is wide, heavy, and gorgeous. It has a sleek modernist design, with the one half shiny and mirror like, and the opposite half bearing a slightly matte finish. I have never seen this design before, and it is a stunning bracelet. Signed and hallmarked "Tane Sterling Mexico", with an "A" within a triangle...

Early Taxco repousse jewelry from the beginnings of Mexico's 20th c. Silver Renaissance are getting hard to find, especially when they are superbly crafted in high purity, 980 silver like the hinged work of art presented here. I am doubly excited for this find because it is exactly that - an amazing, unexpected find! Fleshy repoussage, crisply delineated, unfolds in powerful twists and turns...

There is a pearl dangle (which we added, as the original was missing) below an arc of milgrained metal. It measures 1-1/2” x 7/8” and weighs 4.7g. In overall excellent condition, there is an area on the lower left side where the enamel isn’t quite perfect ...

We have a stunning pair of matching cuffs from the Mexican Silver Renaissance with a grand height of 5 inches. Beautiful cabbage roses with leaves adorn the treasure. The wrist is 2.25 in. and up the arm it is graduated to 2.75. It can be made somewhat smaller or larger. I would say it is set for a medium wrist with air to flow comfortably. The repousse is deep and puffy and without any holes where light can go through them. In superb condition with no damage or repairs. One photo shows the back...
