Amethyst sterling screwback earrings by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1947. They each have a cabochon amethyst which measures 3/4" in diameter. They are appropriately signed. One of the stones has a natural fracture(see photo #1) which is very highlighted in the ENLARGED photo #1, but does not appear that way in person. Elaborate hand mirrors with the jewel and silver combinations for which Matl was known. Mirror on left has turquoise and amethyst; right is all turquoise. Both have discolorations on the glass but are totally original. They are 6" in length; left mirror is 3" wide; right is 3 1/4". Mirror on right has a dent in the handle. Both have Matl's early hallmark; Circa 1950.

This is a wonderfully executed figural ring depicting a man in a turban with snakes on either side, made of sterling silver and decorated by a 5 millimeter round fire opal. The hall mark is a bell within a bell. The ring is size 6 1/4 and it can be sized.
