A charming and intriguing bracelet by Japanese designer and jeweler Miye Matsukada (1922-1981). She worked from her store on Newbury St. in Boston from 1950 until her death. The links appear to have design influence from her country of origin. Measuring 7" end to end , it is 1/2" wide and weighs 19 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. A very delicate and lovely bracelet.

A sterling silver handmade neck ring made of two thick sterling curved pieces, one facing horizontally and one vertically. Measures about 12" around with a large opening of 3 1/4". Hand made silver and cornelian modernist pin/pendant, possibly Israeli, c.1960's. Large and of good weight, this abstract design, measures 3" long by 1 1/2" wide. It is signed with a partial mark on the loop that seems to be Israeli. When worn with a chain, it is worn vertically, and, horizontally, when worn as a pin. The cornelian is bezel set. This pair of hand forged sterling silver butterfly or moth earrings were designed & signed in the 1940's by American & Taxco, Mexico designer William Spratling (1900-67). Gorgeous period art nouveau sheath with nude woman playing the harp sitting in the ocean waves with birds flying above by Unger Brothers, Newark, c.1905. The sheath probably held and can hold a comb, nail file, etc. and measures 3 7/8" long by 13/16" wide and the opening is 1/8" thick(so item should be a bit thinner) by 3/4" long. It is the fabulous Turquoise that sets this Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Necklace Apart. I believe it is Nevada Pilot Mountain with taupe brown to gold inclusions. This is also a very Wearable Necklace ; the perfect size for high impact but not ridiculous scale. It measures appx 26 inches without the Nada which adds 2 3/4 inch length and appx 2 1/2 width. Weight is appx 5.3 ounces. No hallmarks. Fine well crafted old piece.

ORNO was an artisan group or cooperative, founded in Warsaw in 1949 and important in the post-war development of Polish jewelry design. The diameter of the stone is 10 mm, the head "1/ 2.7 cm and the inner diameter of the shank is 14-15 mm. With ORNO mark and Polish silver standard mark. Condition: fine.
