Round mod geometric applied designs on dome post earrings script signed "Sterling" "Howison" with large sterling earring backs. Julie Howison a jewelry designer from Portland Maine. A charming and intriguing bracelet by Japanese designer and jeweler Miye Matsukada (1922-1981). She worked from her store on Newbury St. in Boston from 1950 until her death. The links appear to have design influence from her country of origin. Measuring 7" end to end , it is 1/2" wide and weighs 19 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. A very delicate and lovely bracelet.

A well crafted, highly detailed sterling silver insect brooch with opals on the wings, a chrysoprase body and onyx eyes. Measures 1 7/8" long and 1 5/8" at the widest. Marked on the underside with a conjoined 'SJ' or 'JS' logo and 925 for sterling. Has an earlier 'C' clasp which holds securely. Included is the original box with the same hallmark. Box also has a maker's mark, 'Jorge St?'. We were unable to read the last name and could not determine the artist...

A chariote sterling pin signed Aidan Toronto. This fine studio .925 sterling silver 2-5/8 x 1-1/2" pendant pin features a Charoite stone. Charoite is a rare mineral found in Russia and introduced in 1978 (named for the Chara river). It has an unusual lavender purple swirl appearance and the silver mount accents this movement. This pin is signed AIDAN TORONTO HANDMADE SILVER 925, and it has a safety catch as well a loop for wear as a pendant and another loop for wear horizontally...

Lovely vintage signed Mikimoto brooch in sterling silver set with eight pearls, ranging from 5 to 6mm. The pearls are of very fine quality with white body color and a silvery overtone. The lustre is excellent, as should be expected of Mikimoto. The brooch is designed in a way that permits it to be worn either horizontally or vertically. The back is marked with Mikimoto's hallmark.

Alberto Contreras Sr. was trained by master silversmith Frank Patania Sr. in the late 1940's and employed at the Patania Thuderbird Shop in Santa Fe. Their work was heavily influenced by the Native American jewelers that worked with them. These beautiful clip back sterling and turquoise earrings feature a striking Modernist design with great stones. They measure 1"by1" and weigh 16 grams total. They are in fine original condition and signed as shown. Love the look !

This handmade wide band ring features a random design of molten drops on a textured surface. The irregular band shape has an upturned edge along the top, where the opposite edge comes to a rounded point. It bears the post-1967 Italian mark for silver, hallmarked for the city of Siena; the hallmark is double-struck, so the maker's number could read 722, 712 or something similar...

An absolutely splendid vintage sterling, 14k and deep red coral cuff bracelet by Frank Patania Jr. It comes with its original box with the Frank Patania Thunderbird logo on it. Measuring 5 3/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1" opening, it is 1" wide and weighs 84 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed a shown. This is a spectacular sterling and tiger eye ring. What makes it so special and unique is the large round gorgeous, vibrant tiger eye stone. It is a size 6 1/4 but plain in the back so could be sized. The stone measures 7/8" diameter and is free of chips, cracks or scratches.( The white dot is refection from the camera). Weighing a sturdy 16 grams, it is signed Steinmarkt Berlin. I have not been able to find any information on the maker. Smashing on the hand!

Very large and heavy gauge 950 silver with brass accents buckle, probably from Japan, c.1970's. It is signed "T 950" and measures 2 3/4" by 2 3/4" by 1/8" thick. Extremely heavy, it weighs 120 grams or 4 troy oz. Probably Japanese because the 950 silver content is used there. Hand hammered with brass applied corners, it really makes a major statement. Measuring a size 4 on a ring sizer, this delicate sterling silver ring is an unusual estate find that is approximately 40 years old and said to have been purchased by the original owner in a scrimshaw shop on the coast of Maine.

Marked "STERLING 9" on the back, this ring features a very delicately etched trio of blue flowers. The ring is also initialed "W" by the artist on the lower front of the ivory- an exceedingly tiny signature!
