Striking, hand made, and large sterling MAYAN face BOLO made by MIGUEL and sold at RANCHO ALLEGRE, the largest silver shop in Taxco, during the 1960's-70's. The design shows a darkened silver background which highlights the shiny silver face, decorative element, and edge. The bolo measures 2" wide by 1 3/4" long and the decorative silver ends measure 1 1/4" long. We have a signed, early Fred Davis bracelet today to offer. The amethyst stones are a mix of milky swirl to a dark purple. When you look into them it appears to be a whole other world inside them. They are without chips or cracks. I could not do justice to them in my photos and there is reflection on their surfaces. The Swans signed by Antonio Pineda are graceful in design and the super high gold obsidian sheen is truly radiant. This Fred Davis was designed by Valentin Vidaurreta. It was later produced by Hector Aguilar for Valentin Vidaurreta which is also listed on my site. Hubert Harmons' whimsical designs never fail to bring a smile and provoke thought. His c. 1940's mask pendant or belt buckle is 5 1/2" across X 2 1/4 high.
