Being offered is a rare and fine circa 1965 sterling silver bracelet by Sigfrido ‘SIGI’ Pineda of Taxco, Mexico. Heavy gauge handcrafted silver bracelet in a modern biomorphic design. Sigi, cousin of Los Castillo founder, Antonio Castillo, spent years working with Los Castillo, Salvador Teran, Felipe Martinez, and Margot de Taxco before opening his own shop in 1952. Dimensions: size 6 1/2"; 1 1/4" wide. Marked. In excellent condition.

This is an absolutely gorgeous necklace created by Nestor. The elaborate centerpiece measures 2 15/16" wide and features a huge lab created purple stone in a four pronged setting. Necklace measures a closed, wearable length of 17", and it lays perfectly on the neck. Signed and hallmarked "Nestor Hecho en Taxco 925 Sterling" with an eagle assay. Weight is 48.5 grams. A very rare sterling silver bracelet by Salvador Teran. Depicts a stylized woman praying, carved out of what looks like bone. Also has one curved bone piece on either side of the center section. Marked Salvador, Sterling, Mexico, Design # 510 and Eagle # 36. Measures 7" around and 1 3/8" at the widest. Has a tongue and box closure which snaps tightly and a safety chain. In wonderful condition with a warm patina. Collector quality.

This beautiful, sterling silver bracelet measures just under 7 1/2" long. Each of the 7 links are bezel-set with colorful abalone. They are shaped like upside down triangles, similar to the later, carved, Aztec mask jewelry. Each link is surmounted on the classic Taxco, Mexico square of 4 round beads / balls. The back is marked ANR 925; but, it was stamped in reverse, see pictures. This great piece is circa 1920's to 1940's.

The "Jewels by Antonio" hallmarks dates 1949-1953. This is a book-piece design shown on page 152 of Silver Seduction : The Art of Mexican Modernist Antonio Pineda.

It's a fabulous ring with a huge presence. Size is 8.25. Height on top is just shy of 1/2". 1" wide.

Weight is a substantial 17.3 grams.

Signed and hallmarked "Jewels by Antonio Taxco Mexico", with the design # PP451.

In excellent vintage condition. Collector quality. Beautiful patina.

Circa mid-century, this is a spectacular set of bracelet and earrings from Sigi Pineda. Bracelet can be worn by either a man or woman.
