These stunning Antonio Pineda Amethyst Earrings have a Modernist style with a elongated tapered tube of silver with a cone shaped amethyst stone set to dangle at the bottom. They measure 3" long and together they weigh 26.6 grams. Hallmarked with the Antonio Crown on one and the eagle 17 on the other (marks are a bit faint and impossible to get a good picture). The screw backs function well and there is only light wear and tarnish, no damage noted. Chic and elegant with timeless style.

This massive cuff by Antonio Pineda features a design inspired by the French cave of Lascaux. He made several items with this design which can be found in the book "Silver Seductions" on page 141. This bracelet measures 2 1/4" at the front tapering to 1" at the back with an inside measurement of 5" and an opening of 1 3/4". Very heavy at 135.3 grams. Enrique Ledesma high sheen Mexican silver work of art weighing 50 grams and having a height of 7/8th of an inch. My pictures truly can not capture the beauty of this bracelet. In my hands the obsidian is BLAZING and I could not get one photo of it. There are reflections in the pictures, no loss or damage. An excellent example of Ledesma workmanship at a time before lazers were used to cut the jewelers stones.

Matching the highly geometric cuff bracelet that is also available in my store, this vintage Los Castillo Mexican silver modernist ring still cherishes the austere angularity of the Deco years. Set in channels defined by sterling wires, the saturated blues and greens of the azur-malachite inlay clearly mark it as belonging to the workshop's "mozaico Azteca" line...

It is always exciting when I stumble upon a Mexican chain necklace made of polished, tumbled hard-stones caged in sterling silver. When that example happens to be from the pre-1948 period, I am elated! Made up of various agates and black onyx, maybe even a jasper here and there, the necklace at hand is perfect for the winter, its colors warm and cozy yet somewhat subdued , mirroring the dormant nature all around. The necklace measures 30 1/2” long with its stone widths varying between 1/2” ...

Exceedingly difficult to find (I will not say "almost impossible" because I am an optimist at heart!) these Mexican Deco silver repousse hinged bracelets with rows of stone cabochons come in all widths and material combinations. In my experience, the ones with turquoise tend to be the most sought after but amethyst is also popular and I have had examples with black onyx and even colored glass before. The specific marriage of semi-spheres and cabochons probably originated in Mexico City and Fred ...

Here is a brightly colored, enamel Panda Bear charm: so cute. It measures 7/8" x 7/8". The back of the charm is marked MEXICO 925 and eagle 15 mark. Although eagle number 15 was used by such famous silversmiths as Los Castillo and Antonio Pineda, this piece was very, very likely to have been made by Castelan, who used only eagle number 15 and did some work with silver and enamel (although, he worked mostly with just sterling silver). Signed Margot de Taxco Swanns is a coveted design. Even more difficult to find with all the repousse balls in perfect condition. All the balls are channel set making this item even harder to construct. The center reflects the age being open backed repousse. The center drop is 2 in. and the measurement across is 4 in. across. There is a curve at the top of the drop and a 17 in. wearable is estimated. The weight is 80 grams of perfection, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Dating 1930's-40's, this Fred Davis amethyst fish pin is, I believe, quite rare.

Measuring 2 3/4" x 2 1/8, with a weight of 47.6 grams, it's a very substantial piece. The amethyst stone has gorgeous grape hues, with natural inclusions and quartz marbling, measuring 1 3/8" x 1 1/8". The eye is a turquoise cabochon.

Exquisitely hand crafted and intricately detailed.

In fine vintage condition. Pin closes with a roller.
