Being offered is a large and superb circa 1955 sterling silver bracelet by master silversmith Jose Anton of Taxco, Mexico. Anton was one of the earlier prominent silversmiths during the Spratling era. Handcrafted bracelet featuring large circular links with incised design each with purple purple amethyst stone inlay (pictures do not illustrate the deep purple color of the amethysts). Dimensions: size 8; links are 1 3/4" diameter. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition.

This pin was orginally designed by Mexico artist Frederick Davis in the 1930's. This piece is signed MEXICO SILVER but without the FD mark. Measuring 3 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 wide. 8 cab amethyst stones guard a large faceted amethyst in the center. Pin back works perfectly. Tiny flea bite in the center stone that can be felt but not seen. No dents, dings or repairs to silver.

Spratling described this stunning design as "a wide Aztec bracelet with framed buttons" according to Goddard's spratlingsilver.com. It was one of Spratling's most popular designs in the 1930's - 1940's and still is today. Weighing 185 grams, the bracelet measures 2" high at the front with 1 1/8" opening at the back. The interior measures 2 1/2" across the inside. The bracelet is in beautiful condition with an aged patina. The design is also referred to as River of Life bracelet.

Hallmarks date this very rare Hubert Harmon pin 1942-1944. This is a huge piece, measuring 4 1/4" top to bottom and a width of 1 1/2". At front and center is a huge carved face. The winged ears and turban have exquisite repoussé silver work, with amethyst cabochons for earrings, on the turban, and on the dangling necklace - which swings freely in front. The face is smooth to the touch, with internal inclusions but no chips or cracks. Weight is 53.4 grams...

Wonderfully designed hand made necklace by MAYA, Mexico, c.1950's after a Hubert Harmon design. Maya frequently copied Harmon designs. Looks just like silver with a great patina, but probably made of silver plate because there are no Mexican silver marks. The locking mechanism is separated from the main part by black velvet ribbon. Of large scale, the largest irregular square measures 2" wide by 1 3/4" high and the necklace measures 15 1/2" around...

The beads are a lovely blue green Azurmalachite and has 19 inches of length. The diamond drops are heavy walled silver with a dark natural patina. We have an impressive presence at 190 grams. A vintage mid century modernist pair of screw back earrings in sterling silver and exotic wood by William Spratling. Described as having four curved sterling lines ending in a swirl of exotic wood.

They each measure 1 3/8" long and 1" at the widest.

Marked with the impressed Spratling Silver in an oval on the back of each earring. This marks was used between 1933-40, the first design period.

They are in fine condition with some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish...

Hand wrought, this large, detailed, sterling silver belt buckle was created c.1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hubert Harmon. Measuring 4 1/4" long x 2 1/4" from toe to toe the piece weighs 55 grams. 2 loops on the back measure 1 1/2" across. The smaller loop at the heel is 1 1/8".
