This classic bracelet by the famous Taxco silver artist William Spratling is an early design crafted in a beautiful combination of Sterling Silver and Copper. One of Hector Aguilar most notable designs who called this style the "Six Spheres Bracelet". It is an impressive piece measuring 7 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide and weighs a heavy 86.6 grams. Signed "Taxco, HA, Taxco" and tests to be at least 925 silver. Secure box clasp and in good vintage condition with no damage noted, only light signs of wear and tarnish. Offered on consignment..... This supremely rare mid-century Salvador Teran piece is featured both on the cover and p. 131 of "William Spratling and the Mexican Silver Renaissance". It is a beautiful pin which doubles as a pendant, and it is paired with a custom made hand-wrought sterling silver Navajo chain. Dimensions are 2 3/4" tall, 2 1/16" wide. Her jeweled bracelets have a very unique design, with the stones hand picked and the bracelet made around the them. The hand-hammered sterling silver hinged bracelet has a 22 K gold vermeil finish. This is the first one I've come across which is entirely amethyst, and the stones are gorgeous...

I don't use the term "rare" very often when presenting my jewelry yet in this case, I just had to! Because this specific version of one of my favorite designs, the multi-row repousse semi-spheres hinged bracelets usually adorned with turquoise cabs, is indeed very very difficult to come upon. What elevates the bracelet at hand above and beyond other similar examples is the sheer size of the repousse semi-spheres that make up its two "wings"...
