The print is exceptionally clean and fresh as is the mat (photo shows what appears as a scratch in glass at upper left, it was simply foreign matter I removed easily after the photo). The work bears a label of Summa Gallery, Brooklyn Heights, New York. Measurements 12 1/4" by 13 1/4".

Cincinnati", identified by writing on backing as having come from Ballou's Pictorial Companion, 1855. measuring 11" by 15" in its old dark (probably stained walnut) frame with gold fillet. Fine decorative 19th century engraving print, titled at bottom margin "Philadelphia from Belmont (WEST PARK)", by English-born artist ROBERT HINSHELWOOD (1812-1879). Hinshelwood came to the United States in 1835 as a young man and pursued his art skills, in both painting and engraving. In this case he seems to have engraved after his own original painting---a fairly rare skill combination...

In this beautiful scene, we can see a group of Russian peasants wearing traditional Russian clothes and celebrating joyously outside the village inn. The peasants are standing near a barrel covered with a board on which a bottle of vodka has been placed...

A truly beautiful circa 1890 print of elegant Parisians strolling past and perusing the famous Bouquiniste bookstalls along the banks of the Seine River, not signed in plate nor in pencil but certainly by a listed or even important and well-known artist. To date, reverse image searches and other internet research have, frustratingly, not revealed the identity of that artist. There are no watermarks...

This is a late 19th century American painting by an anonymous artist, from the heart of the Victorian age. It measures 16" by 24" on the original stretchers (21 1/4" by 30" including the frame and probably original red velvet liner)...
