She a led fascinating and turbulent life eventually settling in Hong Kong in 1948. Her daughter Anson Chan. The painting is well mounted on a traditional scroll.

This view of Rowers in the park came to us unsigned, we do not know who painted it, it was created circa 1930's nicely framed, the image measures 8 1/2X12 inches. Rich colors, nicely framed with archival materials. The overall frame measures 15X18 inches. Unexamined out of the frame. Most likely a work by one of the 1930's American Illustrators...
