American Artist Leon Gutmann born in New York and studied with many of the abstract Artist including those of the Students League. He was personal friend of the artist Hans Hoffman and also showed with Max Kassler. Gutmann studied in France after being educated in his Native New York, after WWI. He met the French Artist Jean De Botton, in 1950 who introduced him to his circle of painters and influential to his work.

A beautiful watercolor by the American artist Richard Sched, known for his watercolors and rich oil. Mr. Sched, a native of Boston, who studied art at Boston College, was a member of the New York Painters Society. He taught art at Boston College and exhibited there.
