An as-is condition example of the work of the much-storied American artist "T. Bailey", circa 1920, measuring 19 1/2" by 29 1/2", unframed, signed at lower right corner. The scene is of an east coast forest bordering a small lake, in autumn, the leaves changing. There is an interesting story about the artist who signed so many paintings "T. Bailey"...

Oil on rectangular canvas overlain by an oval frame, 6 1/2" by 9 1/4", (10 3/4" by 12 3/4" as framed), apparently signed by amateur artist "Jennifer" at bottom center below the frame line, circa 1970's or 1980's, the subject ducks flying above a marsh. On the stretcher is written "Canvas Backs". The artist certainly had some talent...

An impressionist painting on canvas, unframed, 16" by 20", signed by a contemporary artist "RG", the subject a covered bridge of the northeastern states. The work is in excellent condition, and the standard size means it should be easy and economical to find a suitable frame.

A naive or self-taught style painting of a colorful hillside neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, known as Rocinha, signed at lower right by the artist "Jonathan", and dated there 27/02/04. The unframed 9 1/2"by 6 1/4" work pictures the Rocinha slum neighborhood. The artist has turned a place of notorious grinding poverty, despair and violence into a beautiful little work of art that transmits only happy thoughts...

This is a pleasant unsigned oil on canvasboard landscape, 16" by 20" (20" by 24" simply framed), the subject a lake surrounded by low hills, a church at right and a few strolling figures at left. The work might be by an amateur or a listed artist but due to the lack of a signature the truth will never be known. There is a little even soiling consistent with an age of at least 40 years, and a small hairline abrasion at center which is not obtrusive...

Small contemporary painting on canvas, 10" by 10", unframed. The work seems to be in mixed media, the yellows particular appearing to be gouache, the green strokes shiny, the remainder of the painting flat. A decorative piece.

Antique, circa 1910 unsigned watercolor on paper painting of a red-headed young woman with elaborate hat, carrying roses, 12" by 9 3/4" in modern-day but attractive and complementary gold framing. There are old condition issues (cracks in the board) at top portion in the hat, and hair, extending to the top edge. These were amateurishly taped on the back side...

A small, unframed oil on canvas landscape in a painterly hand, 8" by 10", signed at lower left with what appears as "Round" or similar. Found in Los Angeles, probably by a local talented impressionist painter. This being a standard size, you should be able to easily locate a flattering frame of your choice.

Watercolor painting of a mountain landscape in autumn, signed at lower left with what appears as "F. Renaud". A brook or stream occupies the right center. This is a nicely painted work, 4 5/8" by 6 1/2" inside the mat, 8 3/4" by 10 3/4" simply framed. The watercolor probably dates to the 1960's or 1970's. Photos were taken with the present cloudy non-glare glass removed. I suggest discarding it permanently in favor of regular glass. Ready to hang on the wall as-is, though.

A contemporary painting on canvas, unframed, 20" by 15 3/4", unframed, the theme seemingly an out-of-this-world painting of space and planets. Difficult to describe, but this sort of imagery is popular, similarsold along the Venice, California boardwalk and elsewhere by enterprising artists. Some of the white spatter seems to be sprayed on. Blue is the general color. Condition is excellent.

A contemporary painting in semi-abstract style, the image apparently of a horse and his flowing mane, staring at the viewer. The work is unsigned. Acrylic on canvas, 16" by 20" (a regular size, easily framed). A twist on equine art.

Circa 1950's oil on canvas of a mountain with cross on top, and what could be a small body of water in the foreground, painted in an impressionist hand. The scene could possibly be Mount Cristo Rey, a landmark with Christ cross on the summit, at the extreme southeast corner of New Mexico, overlooking the El Paso, Texas area. The work measures 16" by 18" and 21 1/2" by 24" framed. Sadly this became badly damaged at some point, with catastrophic tears through the composition...

Antique floral watercolor, the subject white wild roses, 11 1/2" by 7 1/2" (17 1/2" by 13 1/2" framed in light oak), signed at lower right "M. S. Robison". The paper is loose under the mat and has slipped, as photos of corner/edges show. Re-set in proper position and enjoy this well-executed piece.
