An original oil on canvas painting, circa 1970's, signed lower left by the noted American artist CHARLES BRAGG (1931-2017). The work measures 16" by 20" and is housed in a nice quality frame, measuring 23" by 27". Painting and frame are both in excellent condition. Bragg of course was a well-known, prolific artist best known via his hilarious prints. He was a commentator on the human condition, human frailties, and 20th century life...

A vintage 12" by 16" oil on panel painting 20 1/2" by 24 1/2" framed) of the mission courtyard and arcaded breezeway at Mission San Juan Capistrano, signed at lower left and at lower right "BERG". This may be by Chester "Chet" Berg (1895-1973) though this is not certain. The painter had obviously a good command of oil painting, and of perspective. The circa 1960's work is house in a period frame that is probably hand carved and from Mexico. Condition is excellent.

Large, impressive, unframed 18th century copy of the great Titian altarpiece "The Assassination of Saint Peter Martyr", which was a 1528-1529 oil painting by Titian, originally painted on panel and later transferred to canvas. That original was tragically destroyed in a fire at Santi Giovanni e Paolo, Venice in 1867, though a 1691 copy by Johann Carl Loth hangs in its place. The piece measures 63" by 36"...
