A small etching of one of the classic old buildings of America's oldest coastal cities, perhaps New Orleans or Charleston South Carolina, titled "Street Cart", numbered 91/150 and signed "Godzala" or similar. The etching measures 3 3/4" by 2 1/2" inside the mat and 10 1/4" by 8 1/4" in the silver metal frame. Condition is excellent. The piece likely dates to the 1990's through present. I do not see an obvious artist that would correspond with the name.

This hard to find engraving is based on a watercolor portrait of Poe done c. 1843/4 in Philadelphia. The poet wrote to J R Lowell that he thought that engraving looked better than the portrait. The engraving I offer is based upon the first engraving after the portrait published 1845. My specimen is probably mid to late 19th C. but could be as late as early 20th C.
