Large folio size (19 1/2" by 24" inside the mat, 24 1/2" by 20" as framed) hand colored 19th century original vintage lithograph print (1867), titled at bottom "Horses at the Ford" by the iconic American print makers Currier and Ives. A great piece of Americana, this print is apparently rather scarce. Hand coloring in various shades of green, mostly, makes for a most attractive example. I have had an opportunity to examine this out of the frame...

This is an original Currier and Ives lithograph print, frame opening 10" by 8" (total frame 14 1/2" by 12 1/2"), titled "Little Snowbird", from the 1860's, in a nineteenth century typical American walnut frame with gilt fillet. Unfortunately, this very old print has been damaged over the years, and it is now severely torn at top. The title portion and "Currier and Ives" are folded under, as are side portions. Therefore, the principal value of this item is the frame, and the print is a bonus...

This image was created by one of America's best known and best loved illustrators for the cover of the Saturday Evening Post edition of October 4, 1919. This is a nicely framed reproduction, circa mid 20th century, of the PIERRE AUGUSTE RENOIR (1841-1919) famous painting "La Fillette a la Gerbe" (Little Girl with Sheaf). She is carrying her sheaf of wheat, although she looks to be more of a child of the privileged rather than a field worker in the tradition of Millet. This is one of Renoir's more popular paintings and it has been reproduced many times. Renoir drawings and paintings start at about $20,000 and go to tens of millions of course, ...

This is a moralizing work by one of the most famous satirists and social commentators of all time, WILLIAM HOGARTH of England (1697-1764). The unframed poster measures 25 3/4" by 17 1/4". It is in good clean condition, the blue color not faded, though I note the presence some commonly encountered handling creases, the sharpest of them to the left of the nude's head and at the upper corners.
