This is a Hand Colored Print. It shows the equestrian Statue of George Washington surrounded with a wreath, composed of the principle agricultural products of the Confederacy--cotton, tobacco, sugar cane, corn, wheat and rice. It is Marked "The Confederate States of America: 22 February 1862". At the bottom, the motto, "Deo Vindice" (God Favor Our Cause) The Seal was engraved by Joseph S.
