The plate measures 17 1/4" by 7 1/2 " (44cm by 19cm). The framed dimensions are 26" by 15". Appears to be in excellent condition. Pierre Courtin in one of the most important master engravers of the 20th century.

Description: Wonderful gilt etching and aquatint of a sailing ship, superbly and delicately executed, early 19th century era, securely housed in a fine wood frame and since I didn't want to cause any damages to this nice frame, therefore I couldn't examine the item out of frame, but it looks fabulous and condition is great.
