Harold Kerr Eby, American, 1889-1946, "Shadows," etching, plate measures 10 1/4 x 14 7/8 inches on 12 3/4 x 18 inch laid type paper. C. 1936. Edition of 175. Catalog: Giardina 186. Pencil signed in the lower right "Kerr Eby imp", the 'imp' indicating that Eby printed this impression himself. This etching was based on Eby's World War I experiences in France. This print is a beautiful study in light and shadow.
